Possible reason: • If
faultcode MID 144, SID 254, FMI 11 appears the CIU throttle positive
and negative supply wire could be short circuited to eachother.

Faulty EEPROM, CIU.
• Faulty flash memory, CIU.
• Fault in control unit, CIU.
Suitable action: 1 Check for short circuit in the supply cables to the CIU throttle potenti-
ometer.
2 Reprogram the unit which set the faultcode.
